Is that the site you'll be advertising on and are those the exact sizes?

Eh, I used to do that. I looked at the link and I might still have it in me. I'd be happy to try and help you out. Just don't ask for it to be ready by 8 A.M. tomorrow. <- The guys I did work for always hit me up the evening before.

.gif ads pretty easy. Flash is more time consuming. Depends on the complexity.

for a gif ad you just do a [save for web ] under the [file tab] and pick gif. you then select the type of file in drop down menu at top right. you can chose jpeg/gif/png. for animated gifs you have to use the layers function in photoshop. first go under [window] tab and make sure that the [animation] option is selected. that will bring up a toolbar that looks like a slide show. think of slide one as one animation state, the first slide, then drag that 'slide' to the icon below in the animation tolbar that looks like a folded sheet, that copies the slide and creates the second slide in the animation. so now you have two identical slides with the same layers. if you go to the second 'slide' and go to your layers and select what the animation becomes in slide 2 you effectively have two types of layers being revealed in slide 1 and 2. you can set the time interval between the two. the item labeled [forever] in the animation toolbar controls the amount of loops and you can sleect how long each slide stays on by clicking the '10 second' icon and changing the time i am sure this is very confusing.... last step is to [save for web] and export a gif. that's it....
