Diesel Turbo Experience on PPOT?
Our International 466 grenaded it's turbo (the blower side) yesterday. Oil everywhere in the intake plumbing. Air is ducted to an intercooler which I'm told generally traps any debris. All we can get out of it is oil. Is there any good way to clean out this "radiator/intercooler" to ensure no debris makes it into the head?

is the wheel steel? A MAGNET SHOULD GET THE BITS
as the cooler is alloy and nonmagnetic may be ""gunk " WILL GET THE OIL OUT AND UNSTICK THE BITS then you can use water to flow out the bits I would think most of the bits would stay in the housing or in the hose and not go to far into the intercooler as once the wheel dies the boost goes too |
