It's actually a card game but Pit is a blast to play (particularly after a few rounds of drinks!). Here's a link to the amazon listing: http://tinyurl.com/3przwn

I can take anybody anytime at RISK...the only way I can lose is if the dice beat me. Just call me Alexander Caesar Napoleon Tabs...

The only AH game I have is Longest Day..which was the pinacle of AH games...Hugh grand tactical level game of D-Day 6/6/44.

I'd argue that Advanced Squad Leader is the pinnacle of AH games. Huge squad-sized game covering all WWII armies and theaters (now published by MMP as AH sod the rights to them just before being acquired by Hasbro)

I've been playing some Princess game that our little girl has - she keeps beating me at it. The rules seem to change after every roll of the dice. I think she is cheating but I can't prove it.

Does the names of those WWI battles have an affect on anyone else? I wouldn't say they send chills down my spine but from the history I've read I have a great deal of sympathy for anyone who had to take part in them.

Part of our summer rituals at the cabin is "no TV" and "boardgames".
We love them all and there's not many I haven't played.

I like "Balderdash"; seems everyone has fun laughing during the game and I always win.

Monopoly is the fav though
