It really has nothing to do with Iraq. It has more to do with our political will to carry out what needs to be accomplished without the hand wringing of the left proclaiming the the USA is a bunch of baby killers.

I thought being a superpower had more to do with manufacturing and export after World War II, and less to do with atrocities.

China will soon best us with the former, but we may be able to catch up with the latter if we play our cards right.

yeah, that mess was a bit tough to get through. Neat theory, too bad it would only work if you shot the right 10 or 20 people from a troublesome town. Shoot the wrong 10 and you make things worse.

Did your mother really encourage you to give your partner a reacharound as you were in their rectal cavity? I would say that is a bit aprocryphal.

Silly man....

1. During the CW Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus

2. The "Glorious Little War" with Spain in 1898 was a trumped up war of aggression with the Hearst Newspapers leading the cheer.

3. TR Roosevelt created a revolution to create the country of Panama so that the US could build and own the Pamama canal.

3. The US conducted unrestricted submarine warfare against Japan, Which the Nuremberg Tribunal in 1946 tried to charge German Admiral Karl Doenitz for the same of crime of his Submarine campaign in the Alantic.

4. In March of 1945 the US and British conducted firebombing raids on Dresden which had no strategic or tactical value.

5. The Americans and British didn't bomb Ausewitz or even the rail lines leading there even though they had intelligence of what the Germans were up to. Which caused at the least 100,000's of additional deaths.

6. Let us not even consider Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Lets just leave it that the US was able to read the Japanese code and knew that they just needed a guarntee that the Emperor would be allowed to continue to surrender. Something the American Caesar MC Arthur later conceded anyway.

It is the way it gets posted on Charlie Rose Board and I just copied. I will try and make it more readable. I do need feedback.

I am not suggesting that the USA should arbitrarily just shoot people, we have had our own litany of events that could be taken for "atrocities." Read the above list. Can you imagine what the Left would say about each and everyone of the above listed events if they happened today. Are we so much more enlightened now than we were 100 years ago?

We should all strive to live by the better angels of our nature. However the reality is that our circumstances don't always allow us to do so. Sometimes toes get stepped on in the process of achieving our goals and ambitions. It is disingenous for one to eat the fruit of the tree that was grown in the soil of the attainment of those goals and ambitions and cry foul at the same time. That is where the American Left is at today, crying foul while eating the fruit.

The American left would be far better served accepting the fact that America acts in her own self interest, which the left derives benfit from and sometimes those actions are not clean. Those unclean actions are part of the process that provides 3 meals aday for Americans both right and left. If the Left were truly so altruistic they would turn in their dinner plate and share their food with those who are less fortunate than America. I don't see that happening.

The USA needs to leave Iraq so that it can become the new Viet Nam.

To prepare for strong sector development, CT Group had devised plans to launch 16 high-end shopping centres nationwide in addition to 80 luxury stores, bringing its total shop number to 150 by the end of 2008, she added.............

"The WTO accession, whopping economic development, and improved living standards have changed the consumption trend in Viet Nam. Modern shopping practices (at supermarkets, trading centres, and convenient stores) increased from 9 per cent in 2005 to 14 per cent in 2007 and is expected to hit 24 per cent in 2010," Loan said.

Things get better when we leave (may take a while) because they have to do it on their own, America cannot do it for them.

The rebuttal that I have heard to my arguement before is that, "I did not vote for GW Bush and his gang of war criminals." To which my answer is that you take sustinence from the system GW is a representative of and you participate in that system. Therfore you are aiding and abetting that system that tmade GW Bush a represenative and bear the same responsibilty that the war criminal GW Bush bears. Accept your guilt.

My rebuttal is more simple. Anyone who voted for Bush twice should be tripled-taxed to pay for the country's recovery.

I would vote for Bush II AGAIN if you put J F'in K or Al "I invented the internet" up against him and made me choose.

Dumbocrats are their own worst enemies.

Obama or Clinton? Are you friggin' kidding me? I'd vote for Bush over either one of those socialist dispspits too.

Bush won twice by default.

Gore Kerry voters should be lobotomized, assuming the brain can be found.
