Well, it's *like* a cafe bike...

The new toy

1984 Moto Guzzi LeMans 850

BMW R90S fairing
Marzocchi front fork
Verlicchi swan neck bars
Custom rear rack for BMW hardbags

I'll probably look like a bear on a tricycle, but I couldn't resist. I talked to Carpy about building me a CB750, which would've been cool, but I couldn't justify the (reasonable) price. Now I've got a Guzzi, a "cafe" bike and a bit of BMW heritage as well.

I've now got to get a helmet that's the business.

Thought that fairing looked familiar! Had an old R100S years ago and loved the fairing.

Nice looking 'Guzzi. Always liked them and if I did not have a BMW would ride a Guzzi or Duc...

I love it. An old Guzzi is well towards the top of my "someday..." list. That one looks pretty darn cool with the Beemer fairing; almost looks like it was made for it.

Nice bike, I love Guzzi's... a lot more cool that a generic Japanese bike.

Not that there is anything wrong with that

You wouldn't want an '84 V65sp to go along with it by chance?

A GOOSE!!!! I was given 2 GEESE last year....Gotta appreciate all the lights and horns on one of them - These were bought new by 2 brothers back in about 1973 - then they sat in an unheated garage with a leaky roof from 1983 until 2007!:

Another big fan here. I have a MFP pin (the round blue target with "MFP")on the sleeve of my MC jacket.

And slacker--that bike is sweeet. Alot of "wow" factor there.
