Rolex series at VIR this weekend

Anyone going, or have any tips for a newbie watching a race there for the first time (i.e. good locations, etc.)?

I've got an autocross that day, so I can't go, but my favorite location is the picnic tables between 3 and 4. From there you can see the end of the front strech, turns 1,2,3,4 and 5. dtw and I have been known to take a cooler of beer and meat,a grill and make a day of it in that one spot.
There seems to be lots of interest so expect a crowd, but not too big of one since it's a huge complex. One of our UNIX guys is corner working the event as well.

I'm not going. I'm not thrilled with Grand-AM rules. I raced at VIR once though, SCCA. Great track!

I enjoy spectator hill. I don't know what turn it is, but it is the last turn before the front straight.

I have also sat at oak tree corner, but it is a long walk and you do not see a lot of the track. I think it is the one of the fastest parts.

If you sit on the hill you can walk across to the end of the front straight and through the paddock which is usually my favorite place.

Have a great time!!

I just looked at my DVR guide, and it's listed a few times beginning 5/3 on the Speed Channel.
