yep g/friend and son pestered me into submission to ditch crap dial up aol service and ancient rabbit ear tv techno for state of the art computer line and 158 tv channals.

qwest bill and aol bill went from 80 bucks a month for 2 lines fax and puter/phone to $105 bucks a month for single line in everything.

the learning curve has begun.

Holy *****. I was thinking that last Friday. I too still have dial up. I refuse to do business over the net or email. Today, my long time client (rebuilt her entire house from the inside out) with her last of the 3 bath remodel, said did you get my email on the free standing bath tub? I said, huh no. I have dial up and it would come up, remember? You know I don't do e mail. She rolled her eyes and now she's getting it set up for me by this friday all paid for. Now it just more ***** to look at and never get away from work with a ton of questions. I'll let you in on something, this is how I got my call phone 8 years ago. from the same lady. She was piss that she can't get hold of me during the work hours when we were building the addition to her new kitchen. Leaving voice mail on my machine in the office was driving her nuts. Now I can't live without the damn phoneand yet I hate that thing.
