Monaco GP Question- want to see practice, no tickets.
Hey guys,
I will be in Nice, France during the Monaco GP. Does anyone know how accessible Monaco is during the GP weekend? Is it possible to see any parts of the track without a ticket or knowing someone who has an apartment overlooking the track? I'd like to check out Thursday's practice, but don't want to buy $500 tickets. Thanks for any tips.

You can use my condo. I'll be in the Alps that weekend. I can't stand it when those noisy little cars come in town.

I have a patient whose son is the manager of a high end hotel bar, can't recall the name but it is right on the course, do you need tickets to sit at the bar and drink?

I have a connection in the city but not on my usual computer right now. Go to the gate outside the normal entrance and see if you can find someone who is renting spaces in their apartment. Usual cost is a bit higher than tickets but you have a full flat and bit screen as well as drinks and food AND a bathroom for the practice and race.
