Very nice! There is a 64 here that I have had my eye on but the asking price is high for the condition. The one here has been sitting on the lot for close to a year, if he would drop a couple grand I may snatch it up.

Anyway that looks like a very good find!

A real beauty...Congrats.

No need to rub it in! The funny thing is that we paid $1800 for it in 1982, kept it for less than two years then sold it for $2400. My dad was pretty proud about making a profit.

I picked up this '56 ghia for $1800 a couple years ago off of CraigsList

We need a pic of Thom's ghia, that thing is freakin' beautyful, oops, see what I mean

Nice find, lucky that car found a nice home

Now show us a before pic Thom

Thom's Ghia didn't look like that when he bought it...

I restored a 69 Ghia vert about 10 years ago - body was in great shape. Painted, new top, new seat upholstery. Nice, nice car. Bumped the engine to 1600.

Wish I still had it.

Thanks guys. Beautiful car Thom.

I love that car, saw that one, or one almost exactly like it at a Brake/Supsension shop near Fulton and Cottage last year, I think I drooled on it a little

That's a great find, very impressive survivor.

A friend of mine has a Ghia similar to this except the interior is white instead of black. He's been thinking about selling it and replacing it with a 911 cab. If anyone's interested let me know...
