Anyone out there that has a stern drive for a 4.3 v6? Or a good source? I would prefer a gen1 as that would closer match my needs. Thanks ahead of time!

What exactly are you looking for? Alpha or Bravo Drive? Just a lower or complete with gimble?

Alpha and I really need the correct upper half. I believe my lower unit to be fine and interchangeable between pre alpha-alphaII ? However I wouldn't mind a complete sterndrive though I don't need the gimble unless it comes with it.

G/R that would work are the 1.6 and the 1.8 either are better then whats on it now(broken)

Thanks I will check it out. I am hoping someone on this board has 1 lying around that needs a 911/930/996 muffler as I have a plethera of those

Or honestly I am looking for a deal as these outdrives can cost more then my boat and looking to keep the sport cheap unlike the p-car sport

Well to be honest it has been very cheap thus far. the worst part now is that I will spend about what i bought the boat for to fix the issues (broken fly wheel because of wrong series alpha installed. but in the end it will still be cheap had it for 3 years now and its not a total piece of junk so money Ahead I guess

I also have a 4.3L V6, but OMC. I have rebuilt my OMC lower unit with parts from these guys:

I just found Brand new units on ebay for $1100 not bad for everything new. although not oem I think its aftermarket made in clearwater FL.. wonder if they are any good
