You are a crass and malevolent person.

I pity you.

NICKG 05-20-2008 09:54 AM

thanks...i appreciate it. Here is a guy that has caused more pain and suffering in his life than most will ever..a drunken man who is above the law..immplaccable to most...but he just got his just dessert...
just my opinion....

Palum6o 05-20-2008 09:58 AM

If you have on demand, there is a really good documentary on HBO regarding head injuries.

You'll feel real stupid if you decide to view it.

He has nothing on the Pope. Just my opinion..

NICKG 05-20-2008 10:03 AM

yea..that is true Livi...but after Kennedy takes his dirtnap, a page will turn for the better i think.

lendaddy 05-20-2008 10:03 AM

I loathe Teddy but I can't get behind that action.

As big a bastard as he is there are many in his family that don't deserve this(the children and grandchildren especially). Always a shame.

craigster59 05-20-2008 10:15 AM

I'm not a Ted Kennedy fan either, but I will stick to hoping for him to fail politically, not in Family or health.

Dan in Pasadena 05-20-2008 10:23 AM

You guys are a real piece of work. Especially you in this case Markus. You're a doctor, you KNOW what he is about to go through and you still don't have the grace to stuff a sock in it? C'mon.

A man has a probable fatal brain tumor and not only do you guys have nothing good to say (mom said you should say nothing at all) but you want to gloat over his misfortune?

He served his country in the Senate for decades and whether you happen to have agreed with his stances or not is entirely besides the point. There are LOTS of people I don't agree with especially on this board and I wouldn't wish a fatal disease on a one of them....okay, maybe on one of them, you decide which one!:D

The Chappaquiddick (sic?) thing? I agree, there were a lot of questions that went unanswered there and probably on the basis of his position in government and his familial ties. But I'm guessing that or somethingl ike it has happened on both sides ofthe aisle over the decades. More than a few of us think he will get his cumuppence for that in the afterlife. Most of you guys on the Right say you believe in an afterlife, don't you? Well, I'm on the left and I think they're one. At least I hope for one. So much for "compassionate" conservatives, huh?

Dan in Pasadena 05-20-2008 10:26 AM

Posted my response before reading lendaddy's and craigster's. I withdraw my cheap shot mention of the term compassionate conservatives. You guys have class. Its a pleasure to disagree with you.

You ghoulishly gloating guys suck.

nostatic 05-20-2008 10:26 AM

NickG, please calm the hell down. If you want to wish illness on another human, please do it elsewhere.

Dan in Pasadena 05-20-2008 10:29 AM

nostatic, you're a class act too, thanks for the proper tone. Better (and more succinct) than mine really.

NICKG 05-20-2008 10:30 AM

i wasn't wishing it on anyone...i was just saying that it was rather fitting that this happened...do i feel for the guy? sure, do i feel for his family? sure...it is just kind of ironic that a guy who killed someone ...covered it up and got away gets his punishment 30+ years later.

Cumuppence . . . wasn't Asslee Bendover in that one?

stevepaa 05-20-2008 10:33 AM

pathetic.

andytheturtle 05-20-2008 10:33 AM

Everything balances out in the end. That is all I can say.

Threads like this are a good litmus test for those here with class and those without.

I may intensely dislike Ted Kennedy's politics, but to delight in another individual's mortal pain and suffering from cancer is about as low and classless as the human imagination could muster.

I wish him a full and speedy recovery and best wishes to his family, friends and supporters even though I might disagree with them politically.
