I also can no longer support the business that permits it. A shame too, as I am a dedicated Porsche fanatic, long time customer and truly feel Wayne is above this nonsense.

I know S. and he is a real nice guy. He doesn't deserve getting flamed for voicing his opinion or telling us that he is leaving Pelican. It is too bad we are losing a true Porsche enthusiast.

This board is quite tame compared to tsome other cesspools on the net. I wouldn't be to hesitant to leave...

I think it's a shame as well. I don't think anyone grabbed S. by the neck and made him click on Forum 31, though. No one made him click on "More Random Pics", while he was at work, either.

I get frustrated, so I leave it alone for a few days. Then, when other guys get mad at me, we leave each other alone for a few days. No problem.

I can relate. I regularly get p!ssed off here and for the same reasons. I have thought of doing the same thing but if I ever do, the LAST thing I'm gonna do is post about it.

I am unhappy about some of the hate speech and the predominately one-sided point of view that gets represented here too. But there's really nothingto do about that except chime in here and there and get called all sorts of things. Reverse racist, flaming commie, tree hugger, yada, yada, yada. Epithets and name calling are the last refuge of the village idiot anyway.

As for Wayne, I've had my disagreements with him too via PM. Its his board, he can make it reflect whatever he wants. To a degree I think it reflects his orientation; not the extreme sometimes represented here, that gets shut down and people get banned. But the general tone.

Wait a few days, cool your jets and come around less often on the politcal threads.

My comments aside (which are only posted to poke-a-stick at certain individuals), this is the tamest & most mature forum I've ever been a part of.

if there is a specific post or thread that you find particularly offensive, there is a "report to moderator" button. We (the moderators) do not read every thread or post on this board. We also don't act on every reported incident, but we do what we can (eg I locked one of the Kennedy threads today).

And thanks for doing that by the way.
