Having the freedom to move if you want, being able to start over, and with hard work you can be successful, free education which is what you make of it, if you want to learn & excel, only you hold your self back, NASA, being proud to be proud of my country. Says a lot when people can legally immigrate, learn the language, work and own a business in 5 to years years.

What also says a lot is that the USA is the one place where most people in the world would immigrate to if given the chance.

True not everyone wants to move here but its #1 on the list of most people who are looking for a chance outside of their home country.

Jake,

Made it for the race last year but does not look like I will make it this time around. Will see what happens and would love to see it again!

Otherwise get with Syl and you guys have a good time downtown with the other Porsche owners!

Joe

I am proud of Sweden still being a Kingdom, despite all the socialist bashing and republic demands over the years. Every time the Swedish people is asked, an overwhelming majority wants to keep the King, his Queen, the Princesses and the Prince. In my opinion they are the coolest thing about Sweden.

I am proud Sweden is among the safest places on Earth. Among the best child survival rates.

I am proud that, despite our relatively small country, we have a lot of wild nature and wild life.

I am very proud of the Nobel price.

I will not mention ABBA, Volvo, Absolut Vodka or Blonds - even though drinking Absolut Vodka in the backseat of a Volvo with a Blond singing Waterloo is not a bad combination.

nah, it was just to easy... besides, i'm still a bit confused why you put forward a major sarcastic diss on America, as the best example of reasons to be proud of your country...
It would be like Sadam Hussein posting Hot Shot's 2 as mandatory viewing to all his minions,
as if, as far as making him proud of his own accomplishments, it were second only to Scud's with a chemical payload...

I think my country was first to build a production car using an air-cooled 6 cylinder boxer engine in 1960.

And no, I'm not from Germany.

Personally I am thankful to be limited more by my own initiative and intelligence than by my government. Of course if if God decides to bless me with a little more of either I won't complain......

In my country you can go on national television and call the President a liar.

Voting stations are guarded by ninety year-old women with knitting needles.

Well, in 1948 another American had that plan, and was pretty close to doing it too
Quote:
The Franklin air-cooled helicopter flat-6 did fit, however, so Tucker purchased four samples for $5,000 each. The company's engineers converted it to a water-cooled design, and its 166 hp (124 kW) pleased Tucker. He quickly bought the Franklin company to secure the engine source.
Took Porsche over 40 years to do that

Engine: H-6 (horizontally opposed), ohv, 335 ci (4.50 x 3.50 in. bore x stroke), 7.0:1 compression ratio, 166 bhp, 372 lbs/ft torque.

I stand by my statement. I would rather take three mates with a volunteer attitude than 10 who had been forced.
