This is 1874. You'll be able to sue *her*. Hedley Lamarr: Unfortunately there is one thing standing between me and that property - the rightful owners. Hedley Lamarr: My mind is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention. Hedley Lamarr: [to Lili Von Stupp] Shut up, you Teutonic twat!

RIP Harvey Korman
My favorite comedic actor, Harvey Korman died today from complications of an abdominal aneurysm he suffered four months ago, at the age of 81.
Now go do, that voodoo that you do so well.

RIP, Harvey.
I gotta admit he was a favorite of mine. I remember watching him on the Carol burnett show and of course his roles in Blazing Saddles and History of the World are classic. Did you know he was the voice of the great Gazoo on the Flintstones??? I think I'm gonna rent BS this weekend in his honor, heck I think I'll go buy it. He cracked me up doing the "shuffling man in the hospital" skit when I was in my single digits.
RIP edit: oops - this was Conway I was referring too . . . sorry!. Sheesh, I am getting old. Korman was funny, too. RIP Last edited by kstar; 05-30-2008 at 09:16 AM.. |

He was truly one of the funniest on screen. Love Blazing Saddles.

Carol Burnett Show was a big part of our family when i was a wee lad.
A very, very real and substantial loss.

Burnett and Korman, then later came Lawrence and Conway. They always tried to make each laugh during their skits. They had comedic nirvana going for quite a while.
"We're so glad we had this time together, just to have a laugh or sing a song. Seems we just get started and you before you know it... comes the time we have to say, "So Long!" So long, Harvey! RIP |
