he might as well make a big speech about how he thinks about converting to Islam, and how he thinks his marriage ain't working anymore since he recently has these strange butterflies in his tummy since he has a new Thai ladyboy working in his campain team...

Seriously, that would be less damaging for his attempt at the presidency then taking Billary on as his VP running mate...

Surely he's not that stupid?
Then again... it's US politics... and after the last months, nothing would surprise me anymore...

I heard a good analysis about how Obama can't take Clinton on as VP. Everything Obama stands for can be summed up as "change". She stands for the old way of doing things. In addition, they just got done trying to claw each other's eyes out. Putting her on the ticket after a nasty fight like that would be signalling that Obama has no theme to his campaign and is as cynical and takes the easy way out as any old-time politician he rails againt.

But on the other hand, how can he not take her if she stars campaining for it? It will tear the party apart further and encourage her people to take their ball home and stop playing. You gotta say one thing about Republicans, they know how to select and get behind their presidential candidates.

Now MRM it is you who isn't seeing the BIG PICTURE...Hillary is no real agent of change and she would become the VP to STOP Obama from changin a thing. This is way beyond Party Politics...Obama has a snowballs chance in he11 of getting elected if he doesn't give up his agent of change agenda, and he has to take on HIllary to prove it.

Whoa there, Herr Tab's. That was my point exactly. Obama can't put Hill on the ticket because he's the agent of change and she's the status quo. His canidacy would have no meaning with her "ballancing" his ticket. He needs an older, comfortable, father figure sort of midwestern governor who can bring CEO experience and a little white hair to his ticket. Hillary has nothing for Obama, except a whole lotta women who say they're ready to take their ball and go home if they don't get their way.

So not one of you out there ever supported Hillary??? Or Bill????

While I don't have the time or inclination to look this up I know damn well there were many here who did and they have been extremely silent lately.
