After tomorrow's primaries...

...we may never hear from this man again.
http://i.l.cnn.net/cnn/2008/POLITICS...clinton.ap.jpg
...thank goodness, 'cause he's really lost his charm.

the 06-02-2008 10:09 PM

At the gym this morning, i saw a guy on tv talking about Bill Clinton. He said Clinton hasn't been the same since he had heart surgery, that his personality had changed since the surgery. Said that in the past, he'd sometimes get angry, but that would pass quickly and his charm and charisma would quickly come back, but now he is basically angry from the time he wakes up to the time he goes to sleep.

I don't know if that's the reason, but I agree he's lost his charm and charisma, for whatever reason. A year ago, i thought he'd be a major positive force in a Hillary Clinton campaign. It quickly became apparent that the "new" Bill Clinton was nothing but a liability in the campaign. That surprised me.

Rick Lee 06-02-2008 10:16 PM

I think his anger stems from knowing for a long time that his wife ain't gonna be POTUS and thus he won't be back in the WH. It's nothing more than ego and narcissism.

BTW, I read that wild Vanity Fair piece on Bubba yesterday. Ouch. I heard today that Bubba's goons issued a 2400 word protest, but did not refute a single specific charge.

dd74 06-02-2008 10:18 PM

Yeah, he evidentially had a meltdown today about the Vanity Fair article written about him.

Too bad if his surgery and meds are affecting his mood. I mean, it'll be a bit difficult to come back on the scene and explain the Warfarin made him cold, and the Percocet gave him constipation. People will just think Bill's turned into a bitter a-hole.

tabs 06-02-2008 11:21 PM

Bill has had psychothearpy since he left the Presidency.....and his comments are the real thoughts of a player in the game...kinda like pulling back the curtian to reveal the real Wizard of OZ kind of thingy...

Does someone have to explain everything to you BOyz....

He had sex psychotherapy. No one mentioned his yet unanalyzed political libido. That's an entirely different slick Willie.

tabs 06-03-2008 12:33 AM

Exactly what is "sex psychothearpy?" Homeee! Sounds kinda CA new age to me?

It'll cost you $500 an hour for my assistant, Monica, to explain it to you, Boyeeee!

Rick Lee 06-03-2008 05:59 AM

I don't believe Bubba's ego would let him seek psychotherapy. Yes, he's probably needed it for a very long time. But the man has never taken responsibility for anything in his entire life and such people don't often go looking for professional help where they need it.

Jeff Higgins 06-03-2008 06:24 AM

Even today's headline stories about Hitlary are completely omitting any reference to, or photos of, old Bubba. Lots of shots of the Hildebeast with Chelsea, but nothing with or about Bubba. Billary has distanced herself further (and more effectively) from Bubba than Obama has from his church.

Tobra 06-03-2008 06:26 AM

If you think we have heard the last of Mr Rodham-Clinton, I have some ocean front property right outside of Needles I think you might be interested in...

.

That's my guess as well.

Jim Richards 06-03-2008 06:35 AM

Obama needs a female Veep (not Hillary) to placate the paleo-feminists that will be upset about Hillary's defeat. If he does that, we'll hopefully be rid of re-runs of the Rodham-Clinton dynastic (dream). At least that's what I hope.

Rest assured, the Clinton Crime Family will do everything to make sure Obama does not get elected. First, they'll be able to say "I told you so." Second, if Obama wins, Hildabeast can't run again until 2016 and remember, it's all about the Clintons, not the country, not the Dem. Party. And lastly, Chelsea will be old enough to run by 2016.

Jim Richards 06-03-2008 06:40 AM

I could see that happening. That's why I think it's important for O to get the feminazi's on board asap. It will strip Hillary of a big part of her constituency. IMO, of course.

The Gaijin 06-03-2008 06:42 AM

After tomorrow's primary - the little boy from Kansas will have kicked a bucket of water onto the wicked old witch.... "I'm meellting..." Then the flying monkey's will dance and the little people will march to the convention down the yellow brick road..

Jim Richards 06-03-2008 06:43 AM

So, DC will become Munchkin Land?

Did anyone see this quote??

Quote:

In a May 18, 2008 speech in Ashland, Ore., Bill Clinton said that Hillary has a plan for all Americans to be driving 100 mpg cars by her second year in the White House.

He is inhaling

MRM 06-03-2008 06:57 AM

I read about the Vanity Fair article today and the next stroy I read was the Hillary campaign apologizing for Bill calling the Vanity Fair author a "scumbag" and basically blowing his stack on the record. Which I found ironic considering that the point of the Vanity Fair story was that since his heart problems, Bill's monumental temper has gone from being a part of his personality to being the prime feature of his personality. I think Vanity Fair's response was something along the lines of "See, I told you so."

Rick Lee 06-03-2008 07:15 AM

I didn't get that from the Vanity Fair article. Yes, it mentioned his pre and post surgery personas. But that wasn't the crux of the piece. It focused mainly on his personal financial associations with super rich contributors to his foundation and speaking gigs and how a lot of these guys are high-flying, hard-partying playboys who always give Bill a lift on their private jets and always have women all around them. It also talked plenty about Doug Band, Clinton's personal gatekeeper, who even "manages" Clinton's cell phone and how Band and others in the inner circle were not doing enough to shield Clinton from shady folks and compromising situations. Of course, the cause and enabler for all this is Clinton's own piss poor personal judgment or ability to ever take responsibility for anything he does.

Racerbvd 06-03-2008 07:33 AM

looks like a set up to my, act like you are going to bow out gracefully, then drop the bomb on the racist obama:mad:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1212507204.jpg

MRM 06-03-2008 07:35 AM

That's funny. The story I read about the story mentioned his anger, and the other story was about Clinton blowing his top in response to the Vanity Fair story. It must be hard when you have virtually no limits placed on you, other than self-restraint, and when you ove temptation so much.

m21sniper 06-03-2008 07:41 AM

It amazes me how many of you read Vanity Fair.

MRM 06-03-2008 07:57 AM

Only Rick read the Vanity Fair article. The rest of us only read about the article. I'm going to have to go out and get it now, though.

Rick Lee 06-03-2008 08:00 AM

I don't read Vanity Fair. I clicked on a link on Drudge and it took me to the article. It was eight pages, so get comfortable before you start reading. I wouldn't buy that magazine under any circumstances, but I read Drudge religiously.

Rick Lee 06-03-2008 08:02 AM

It's no longer on Drudge. Here ya go.

Interesting article. It could have said as much with half the words, but it was a fun read.

Jim Richards 06-03-2008 08:38 AM

Rick, fess up. You were looking for the latest thing in man purses to hold your keys, wallet, sunglasses and 1911. :p

svandamme 06-03-2008 09:01 AM

so just driving home from work, on the news...
Vanity fair has article about Bill bagging Gina Girshon ?!?

if true, damned funny
for one thing, he's pulling the rug from under Hillary completely, let's call that a coup de grace

and at the same time, improves his personal score
Gershon vs Lewinski... i'de know who i'de go for

http://gawker.com/assets/images/gawk...enSnapz026.jpg

anybody who blames him for that... is either a hypocrit or just not really into girls or something

cairns 06-03-2008 09:17 AM

Damn what did happen to all the Clinton lovers on this board??

KFC911 06-03-2008 09:53 AM

From what I've gathered over the years, I'm assuming you're referring to anyone who dislikes GWB's policies and the labels we've been tagged with by the "hard core faithful"....we're not Dem/Libs/Clinton fans either :)

No, not at all. I'm a career Clinton-hater and I'm not real fond of W. either.

As Sun Tzu will tell you, nothing is more critical to success in the art of war than understanding the mind of your enemy.

I can recommend a subscription to Vanity Fair.

Or I could send you my old back issues. ;-)

Sure thing. I need a new dartboard anyway and the issue with Plame and Wilson on the cover would be just right for that.

Well the admission for being in psychothearpy came out of Bills very own lips during an interview with Charlie Rose. Guess again....

tabs 06-03-2008 11:09 AM

Let me say it again...there are forces in America that would force Obama to take Hillary as VP to put a leash on his agenda of change. Hillary wouldn't be there by choich either. If Obama doesn't choose Hillary those forces have enough of power to sink Obama's chances in a sea of money.

Oh, I forgot. When Bill Clinton says something, you can take it to the bank.

We'll see tonight. Some big speeches are set to be made by Obama and Hillary. Supposedly, she's going to drop a "hint" that she should run as his VP.

Man...what a cluster **** this is going to be.
