I never got into comic books. I thought Aeon Flux was cool, though.

I never read comic books.
Another Aeon Flux fan. I didn't like the movie much though--didn't really have much to do with the storyline from the show/shorts. If we can do TV shows, I'll throw in the Venture Brothers. ![]()

Veronica Lodge from Archie and his gang. She was hot and also heir to the Lodge enterprises. Plus she always wore tight sweaters.

Always wanted to be a Black Tiger pilot from "Starblazers" as a kid. Probably doesn't count as superhero though, just animated characters.
Fave superhero was probably Spiderman.

Batman.
I like my comic book hero served up dark and flawed, just as I like my scifi served up. ![]() -Z-man.

What decades were superhero comic books (like the ones pictured in the first post) most popular?
Growing up in the 70s and 80s, I don't think I knew a single kid who was into comic books. I don't think I've ever read one in my life, maybe never even really seen one in person. That's not meant to say anything negative about comic books, it's just curious to me. |

I always liked Daredevil...forget the lame-ass movie, the stories in the comic were pretty dark, and he was a flawed "regular" guy hero--sometimes getting his ass beat.
