My wife wanted this model instead of her 1991 420 SEL. I talked to several Independent MB mechanics.............Stay away, electronics nightmare.

Tabs,

You and your cigar would look fantastic on that baby!

Who cares about the maintenance costs or mileage...

Just think of the chicks you could pick up in that!

I want to have some money in my pocket to buy groceries...I don't want to feed and take care of a German Panzer Wagen.

Is that the V12 model? If so, awesome, super-smooth ride.

Just like the BMW V12... but there is a reason the used ones sell for so cheap.

Yea - fun, smooth, powerful but total gas-suckers and can get expensive quickly when you have to change plugs, wires, coil packs, etc.

I would absolutely love to get my hands on a BMW 850 at some point however. Those things are awesome.

There's a superb one for sale not far from me. Only 15,000 miles. Asking $21,000.- It looks like it just left the factory.

Coming from a person who worked at a Porsche/BMW/Mercedes service shop, DON'T DO IT! Never buy a V12 BMW or Merc, they are nightmares.

Very fitting for you so go for it. We see cars like these all over the place over here, most of them purchased by wannabe types, then realize they can't maintain them, and end up at the corner used car lot in South Philly somewhere.
