Sad. but thats how it goes. I went to game 3 which was pretty good.

Remember: Celtics (this year) best record, predicted to win the whole thing and they do have three incredible talents.

Lakers: Terrible first half of a season, only started going after Gusol coming mid season, and lucky to be in this position.

Hope this is a start of 4-5-6 good years of these two teams eatting it up!!

The second the whistle sounded to end game 3, I predicted the Celtics in 5. The Celtics were pathetic in game 3. Garnet and Pierce couldn't buy a basket, Kobe gets off for 36 and that other guy had 20 and the Lakers barely win?!?!

All the Celtics need is for 2 of the big 3 to have average nights and they win. The Lakers have no answer for Garnet, they can't rebound, and shoot too many jump shots.

Celtics end it Sunday.

I don't know which MJ you're referring to (Jordan or Magic), but imo Kobe (despite his awesome athletic talent) hasn't proven to me after all these years that he should even be compared to either of those truly GREAT players . I equate Kobe to Barry Bonds without the steroid enhancements .

1. It's great to see Kobe lose. He isn't Michael Jordan, no matter how much the league wants him to be. MJ would have been scoring 50 and carried this team to a win. And Shaq has a big grin on his face right now because he won a championship without Kobe.

2. Phil Jackson is a big reason this team got as far as they did. They're not as talented as previous Lakers teams. Gasol disappears under pressure. Odom looks "confused".

3. This is the beginning of the end for David Stern. The game fixing allegations will get worse. He's not going to be able to cover it up.

C'mon, I'm from Chicago, of course its Michael Jordan. I don't think that Kobe is half the player that Jordan was, I am simply hoping he can attempt to emulate him for the next 3 games.
