Susan claims to have six months to live because of brain cancer.
Thats six months more than she gave Sharon Tate.

I am in complete agreement.

I oppose capital punishment for a variety of reasons but one of which is NOT because there aren't people that deserve it....there are far too many that do.

Atkins is one that deserved it in my opinion and since that was overturned for her, I believe she deserved the next most permanent punishment - LIFE. Letting her out because she now has a terminal disease and an amputated leg misses the point. She deserves to have stayed and only have gotten out for her burial somewhere.

I don't remember if it was her or one of the others but one of Charlie's girls HAD been the Homecoming Queen of her high school! What a waste, all of them bloodless monsters.

To be honest, the Mason case has always confused me.

Either Mason was a cold blooded manipulator who brainwashed people into doing the things he wanted done...

or..

The people were cognizant of their actions and so he was a malevolent presence, but they are responsible for what they did.

I don't care if they all got shanked in the showers tomorrow, but I don't see how we got it both ways on this.

I actually am very disappointed in our citizens behind bars that didn't clear this mess up long ago.

Tate begged for her child's life, pleading that the group abduct Tate and let her give birth before murdering her. Atkins testified that she replied to Tate, "Look, *****, I have no mercy for you. You're going to die and you'd better get used to it." Atkins and Watson then stabbed her to death. Atkins mopped up some of Tate's blood with a towel and used it to write "PIG" on the front door. They left Tate's house after midnight and returned to Spahn Ranch.

Her quote shows how much of a worthless person she really is.

To be quite honest I didn't know much about the specifics of the case other than the big picture (it was a little before my time). Manson orders his cult to kill random people. Pregnant Sharon Tate is among the victims .

Although I never thought Atkins deserved any kind of mercy for her actions, after reading this article in the LA Weekly: http://tinyurl.com/3pq23h , I realized what a cold blooded b***h she is and how she should be rotting away in her prison cell and not resting in a "comfortable" hospital bed!
