My last name is Fuerstenberg and my ancestry ( parents and beyond ) is German. Part of my heritage to the best of my knowledge is being distant relative of the Furstenberg beer brewery

Excellent beer and I've had it a lot of it in Germany. I don't recall ever having it in the U.S. though. One of my fondest memories was finding out the dining car on my train from Berlin to Trier took credit cards. My friend and I smelled like farm animals and had been living like hobos, hitchiking around Poland and Ukraine. We were saving our last dollars and Deutsche Marks for when we were within reach of home, which was then Trier. Having spent our last bit of cash on the train tickets, already starving, we had a long ride. That dining car not only took credit cards, they had Fuerstenberg on tap. Gawd, did we enjoy the rest of that ride.

did you try this one?
http://www.beerstore.com.au/detail.asp?beerID=389 Looks like they might ship overseas if you call them http://www.beerstore.com.au/delivery-policy.asp ...beer might not be the freshest if it has to go from Deutschland to AU to US, but could be worth a shot. ![]()

Here's what I'm drinking at the moment, it's the best beer in the world and you can find it in the U.S.
