F1 - CANADA - MY TRIP....... multi-day series of posts, pics, and observations -
Quite the adventure -
Hotter than hell and twice as humid, French language (though most spoke at least some English), 100,000 of your closest friends, incredibly loud F1 cars ........ and a good time for all. Hang tight, I'll be posting pictures and videos in the coming days as time allows. All pics taken by Craig -

Last Wednesday:
Flight from Seattle to Chicago, then from Chicago to Montreal. The Montreal CA airport is stunning - brand new, beautiful place. Huge spaces, well laid out. Got in late and explored Monreal the next day. Downtown Montreal locals activities: Smoking, wearing black, Euro fashions, silence, driving 50 mph on the city streets. Plenty of homeless, clean, feels safe, nice Metro (subway) system. Cool churches, incredibly huge:

Sorry I've been slow updating this, hellaciously busy catching up after being gone a week -
Party with Jarno Trulli - favorite quote of the night was in response to a question from the audience regarding when the team boss told him to "Push harder" last year: "I wanted to give him the middle finger"  :~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~     Nothing weirder than a Frenchie band singing classic American songs.......

Awesome story so far - keep it coming! French pop culture is a completely different world, even to the rest of Canada! There's so much talent there, but it doesn't get out of Quebec as much as it should, and can often seem pretty bizarre to the rest of us! Look at Celine Dion...
