Full Brass 12g Shells
Has anyone here ever loaded the full brass 2-3/4" 12g shotshells? Any problems, tips, etc. Thanks, Tony.

i use them with black powder in a very old damascus twist barrel shotgun. no problems here.
if anyone has any shells in ten gauge for sale, please let me know. |

Check with Old Western Scrounger, or possibly Natchez. If that don't work, there is a "Wanted to buy" over at forums.gunbroker.com, and of course the gunbroker.com auctions
As far as loading 'em, remember that you have to use card/felt/whatever wads and you won't have a shot cup.

last time i saw any at a gunshow they were greeners, a pair for just $120 .
i am still looking. now that i am thinking about it again i seem to recall a sleeve that will allow the use of 12 ga. shells in a 10 ga. gun. anyone seen these ? Last edited by onlycafe; 06-21-2008 at 12:27 PM.. |
