educate me on Adobe Acrobat versions

I need to buy the "full" version as a customer's order tracking system requires it. What is to be gained by the "Professional version" vs the "Standard version" (other than $125)?

You can edit, create, combine them.

I'd be lost without it.

yes but is there a difference in the versions worth noting?

We use 8.x Pro. We have the need to redact pdf files, with the release of 8 Pro, this became a no brainer.

Most of the diff is in the conversion engine.

Will you need to deal with any CAD drawings?

Comparison chart.

OK, so if you want to be able to edit the pdf docs in the original font(s) you need Pro? Am I reading that correctly?
Looks like 9.0 comes out on Thursday:(
