educate me on Adobe Acrobat versions
I need to buy the "full" version as a customer's order tracking system requires it. What is to be gained by the "Professional version" vs the "Standard version" (other than $125)?

You can edit, create, combine them.
I'd be lost without it.

We use 8.x Pro. We have the need to redact pdf files, with the release of 8 Pro, this became a no brainer.

Most of the diff is in the conversion engine.
Will you need to deal with any CAD drawings? Comparison chart. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/matrix.html

OK, so if you want to be able to edit the pdf docs in the original font(s) you need Pro? Am I reading that correctly?
Looks like 9.0 comes out on Thursday ![]()
