Hey Markus!!!

I had not seen your earlier post. I am just recovering from the penalty kicks. We had never beat the Italians in an official match since the 1926 Amberes Olympics and had not advanced to the semis since 1984.

Now it is time to face the Russians which have improved a lot since losing to us 4-1 in the first game.

Thanks for your support. Count on us to avenge you.

Unfortunately I am just an avid supporter.

Livi and I exchanged some messages since Spain won against the Swedes and then Sweden had to play against Russia. When Russia beat Swden, Spain acquired a new fan (isn't it livi?)

Excuse my poor grammar if I lead you to believe that I am a pro soccer player

Hmm, i'm actually quite happy that the Ruskies were in good shape
the dutch just had to be kicked out of the tournament

Last time they won was in 88, and they have been annoying ever since
every championship they go nuts, turn everything orange, and yap about how they are the favorites, and how they are the team with the best players, best tactics, best games...
which is all unfounded , since they keep getting knocked out in the first rounds..

So realistically, they should never win again, because it's been 20 years since last time
and they are still unbearable in that respect... so if they'de win again, they will have fuel to keep going till i'm retired... can't happen

I don't care if Belgium ever win's, for all i care, Belgium can fail to qualify for the next 100 years.... i just care about Oranje never making it...

I'm thankfull to Mother Russia, for sending out her son's, and having them take care of business.

As my parents have had a house in Andalucia (Puerto Banus) since I was a toddler, we have spent at least a couple of weeks there almost every year since. Lovely place. I sure hope Spain makes it to the final. On the other hand I must say I grew rather fond of the Russians. They play a very positive, energetic and fun football to watch.

I am Dutch and my wife is Swedish. The Ruskies wiped the floor with both of our teams. I arrived at my office this morning to find an image of a hammer and sickle hanging on my door. So much for total football.

The Russians are young and fast and finished well. And they consistantly got goal side of the KNVB defenders. Van der Sar made some amazing saves and his defensive line deserves a good lashing. But much respect goes to the Russians. They've put together two great games. But the squad may miss a few players due to cautions in Saturday's game.

I was very glad to see Spain knock out the Italians. If it comes to penalties with the Russians, Spain clearly has the edge with Casillas.

If ou have to ask...

Although my boss is an Atletico fan and has a booth in the stadium I do not know how you can not support the best soccer team in the world (as declared by the FIFA).

Go Real!!!!

I'm glad to see all of these Spanish/Italian/Swedish/Dutch fans...but it's all wasted energy, since Germany will take the Cup this year

But, just so long as the games are clean and fun to watch, it doesn't matter who wins, right?

Just so long as it's Germany

I'd be willing to bet a paycheck that the Dutch will not win the 2008 Euro Cup.

Ah...I get it.

Hey, I have a bunch of friends that are considering taking over a small country somewhere to get away from the collapse of the USA...maybe we'll head there, and solve your Dutch problem for you!
