Race Car Build
Just thought i would show some of the cage work i have been doing the past few nights. Its done but 2 bars i still might ad in. next bead blast, paint, finish up the outside. just a few more weeks and i should have it ready for full paint.
I have been building cages in Rally cars for many years and now have moved up to the road racing thing. I am going to sell this rolling chassis when done. I have a 993 to build next. my web page is new but you can check it out. 9-werks.com hope you like. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice - belongs on the Main tech board or the Racing forum though. Perhaps ping nostatic to move it?

FYI- many racing orgs require a one piece main hoop diagonal (from drivers head to lower RH corner). This usually means the harness bar is notched to fit around it. I noticed your harness bar is one piece, you could still do the one piece diagonal and weld/gusset it to the harness bar, but you shouldn't do a two piece diagonal because it will limit the legal places the car can race.
