It has been my experience that many folks from CA (depending upon the area they're from), aren't nearly as laid-back as the image they like to project (not you Danny). I love to visit CA, but there are just WAY too many people living on top of each other for me and that doesn't contribute to that image. Fl isn't the south, but the typical southern state (rednecks and all) is way more laid back than either of those places (outside of the bigger cities). We like to live like we talk...sloooooow :). Bell, you should come back to NC when there's a bit of snow on the ground ("maybe" once a year here where I live), and you'll add us to the "can't drive" list of states. Funniest thing I've ever seen was when I lived in Jax, Fl and we got a bit of snow/ice one time that stuck to the roads (extremely rare), and most had NO experience whatsoever driving in the stuff.

San Diego/Miami. Night/Day. Heaven/Hell. Surfing/Inner Tubes. English/Spanish.

I've only been to SD four times...love the place, but don't really think of it as laid back (but then again, I've never lived there). I haven't been to Miami since we used to hit Ft. Lauderdale for college spring breaks...no desire to either. BTW, I thought SD was "Northern Tijuana :)". IMO, any place that's packed with people (SD included) just doesn't fit my definition of "laid back".

I was there (Encinitas/Leucadia) in the 80's/90's. It was laid back as it gets (I believe the population just broke 1 mil at that time...in an area the size of some small states - 65 miles from north to south, and 86 miles from east to west, covering 4,261 square miles). Never had any road-rage issues. Rarely saw confrontations in public (except in the surf) or bars. People were civil. Minimal redneck a-holes (you had to go to Dulzura or Lakeside to find 'em). Low crime rate. Possibly over-crowded now, I don't know. No more spring breaks in Ft. Lauderdale. The city put the kabosh on that in the mid 90's and the spring breakers moved to Daytona & Pensacola(?) and/or Panama City Beach. San Diego is Tijuana North as much as Miami is Cuba West.

just curious... how big does a chihuahua poop?

I would expect it to poop less then a cat or even then a rat
but really never seen a chihuahua poop (i live in the country side, any Chihuahua would be snuffed within 24 hours by a cat, rat, real dog, or bird of prey)

maybe they have some magic bowels and lay massive dumps?
can anyone confirm or deny?
