I have a lot of family in Melbourne. I'll probably go check the car out when I'm there in November--I'm sure it will still be for sale.

And the sought after 2.7 fuel injected engine.

Legion - I'm in on that bet, no way this thing sells.

Gee, for that price you would think the bungee cord holding the air cleaner together would be a bit newer, or color coded to match!

I lived in Melbourne for several years (my undergrad was at FL Tech). Where at? I don't recall there being much in the way of P-cars down that way (although this was far before my interest in such things).

There's a chance I might be down that way this fall also - if I go I'll almost certainly stop by MLB again just to see how it is and what's changed.

2.7 CIS motor??? I don`t think that makes anywhere near the power of a yellowbird. This is a $15k car tops.

My grandfather lives off of Wickham Road near the King Center. He's lived there since '92. My aunt and uncle live in a new development about 10 miles north of my grandfather. My mom lives on Merritt Island.

and shouldn't the oil filler cap be black, or yellow, or just not painted at all. Nice gutted trunk and interior though

Must be a lot nicer than it looks

That is a little too low. I think you could get about 20K for that.

Given the way it is advertised, I don't for a minute believe anything posted about the car.

I don't see the problem.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RUF_CTR

It looks to me to be a precisely replicated RUF CTR, at just a fraction of the cost. I say it is absolutely as good in every respect as the genuine article.

If he untwisted the bungee, that'd probably add a few thousand more. He is accurate about one thing though...there's not another one like it "for the money"
