Watched this last nite. I thought I was watching Earth in the Balance. They tell the story of one little carbon atom. It shows our little atom becoming trapped undersea due to global warming type conditions and then becoming oil. We get our little guy out & while horror movie type music plays, we burn the oil & put our little guy back into the atmosphere where he once again warms the earth, melts the ice & poisons the oceans. There are other carbon atoms from volcanoes & such. But the man induced ones appear to be particularly devious. While it mentions volcanoes, it ignores such salient facts as Krakatoa introducing as much carbon into the atmosphere in an afternoon, as man has in the entire industrial age. This thing states as fact, that the only thing that has any effect on temperature is co2. The giant ball of nuclear fire (sun) is apparently insignificant. Apparently we don't even need the sun, just good management of hydrocarbon usage.

It is sooooo trendy to 'care' about everyones CO₂.

As far as greenhouse gasses go, water vapor is the king ...by far.

Hey, Maybe we should start a scare about water vapor. ...manbearpigs, 'roid-raging cousin; ManLandSharkMobyDick! ...bigger, sneakier and meaner than just some pig gore.

crude is a VERY informative show..i tivo'd it awhile ago and i found it really interesting. oil is really concentrated sunlight from eons ago...and how a dead sea created it and so on...lots of facts and real info in this program.
