No shame , bad taste, I was drunk..and well it was dark.

I totally agree. For most, the more clothing, the better. Some would be best off with 100% coverage.

I get plenty grossed out looking at the *clothed* unwashed masses. To think of them all nekkid [shudder].

So, while I don't know why it is, I'm just glad that it is!

Bird and animals have clothing (i.e., feathers and furs).

When a woman sees me with an erection, would that be a compliment?

and the vice-versa,

When a woman sees me without an erection, would that be a sign of disapproval/dissatisfaction?

Humans wear clothes because he have no fur. Is it really more complicated than that? Tell the people in Alaska to go nude.

MichiganMat 07-09-2008 03:52 PM

Because Nudists are freaks.

Seriously, they are, no environment for children to be raised in.

KaptKaos 07-09-2008 03:54 PM

Oooo Anthropology! Cool.

Anyways, European climates need clothes and lots of them.

Not so many in sub-Saharan Africa, no? Aboriginal peoples in those climates didn't wear a lot of clothing because it was too damn hot.

Most cultures covered the sexual organs, not because of puritanism, but comfort and safety. It's a lot harder to grab my balls in a fight if they are covered.

But then, Barcelona is quite evolved in the regard of acceptance.

I saw the same guy in Paris, 2 years ago.

Any of you guys ever been to a clothing optional resort?

There are several in my area. Have I been? Let's just say I have a friend that has been to them before. Don't forget your sunblock you cottontails. :D

stealthn 07-09-2008 05:22 PM

Because riding a bicycle with a hard-on is very difficult :D

God intelligently designed humans to live naked some 6000 years ago.

I used to go nude a lot years ago. It's amazing how easy it is to avoid arrest if you just keep moving, but accidentally stepping on it or kicking it wasn't pleasant at all.

An incident involving a revolving door while making a hasty exit from a Victoria's Secret put an end to it for me; a very swollen end.

Thanks guys for your well thought replies! However, I am not satisfied. :D

Specifically, what is the point of hiding female breast for example? Think it threw, guys!

IŽll provide the correct answer later. :D

Jim Richards 07-10-2008 02:50 AM

Think of old women's breasts. And obese women's breasts. Well, I cannot bring my self to [shudder] think of such a sight.

What a bunch of hung-up prudes! You mean you’ve never dragged your SO to a nudist camp or nude beach? It is not sexual in the least. Except for the voyeurs on the nude beach who come to gawk or snap pictures for the net & never, ever unveil their bizness. But then everyone there knows that those pervs are seriously inadequate anyway.

And yes, you see grannies & you see kids & they see you too. Is that the problem? Inadequacy fears? Or just residual societal guilt heaped on by the religious zealots over the millennia & perpetuated by a holier then thou sensationalist media?

The human race just needs to grow up a bit.

Artists see it differently

From the viewpoint of this humble (?) artist there are many reasons the naked human form has such a profound affect on those who view it. First is the obvious sexual interests we have as humans. The opportunity to see, study, compare and even to judge something as basic as the raw human form is all but irresistible to most vital humans. Sure we are influenced by the media (seeking youth and perfection to sell us endless, useless products) and the clergy that would have us feel guilty for our natural feelings toward nudity, sexuality and the naked human form.
Ask yourself what you see when you look at a nude body. Do you see the wonders of diverse shapes and forms. Do you see the endless parade of nipples, breasts, private hairy places and dangling male parts or do you see the faces of those nudes expressing their pride or shameless exposure of their so-called flaws? These aren't train wrecks we look at to make ourselves feel better about our own bodies. These aren't examples of how we or someone we know might look if they just tried harder. These are the actual, real and honest shapes that make up the human race.
How do we celebrate this aspect of our being? Often we look away and/or express our judgments against those who shamelessly display their bodies. This seems to me to be the result of generations who were told that nudity was somehow evil because it focuses on our sexual interests. Painters have used the nude form to express everything from pure, basic human beauty to the life of Christ. When did that become a bad thing? Sure we can compare the bodies we see to our own (not usually a good idea) in an attempt to make ourselves feel better about our own shape or to stimulate our senses. The nude represents "honesty", nothing to hide, pure expression. Is it sexual? Of course it is. Humans are sexual (every single one of us) so don't fool yourself. Any shame, curiosity, lust, guilt or other emotion brought on by viewing a nude (alive or in print) is absolutely normal and human and nothing to get one's panties into a twist over... (that is "if" you're wearing any) LOL

Moses 07-10-2008 05:14 AM

I'm not wearing pants right now.
