He is too smart for that, he has been in the game too long to not know that a mike could be hot, hell I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have someone turn it on. Hannity was good with sharpton last night, asking why JJ gets a pass for wanting to cut bho's nuts off but Imus get slammed :D

Call me negative, but.....Obama is having trouble with white, lower-class males who feel they've been mistreated by affirmative action, etc.

This happened on a set at Fox News.

I smell Jesse/Hillary style politics - anything to win. Doubt someone who has been around tv & politics for 40 years makes "mistakes" anymore. Bet a couple of guys in Peoria think Jesse isn't for Obama now and so maybe he's a safe vote after all.....

Richard M. Daley was caught on camera mouthing a very recognizable word during the '68 Democratic Convention in Chicago while Abe Ribicoff admonished his administration's treatment of the demonstraters. Until his death, Daley insisted he was screaming "faker" at Ribicoff. Those standing around Daley say he was using a different word.

My point? Even the most polished slip up here and there.

I heard Cheney said "Fake off" on the senate floor once :). I think y'all are giving REVEREND JJ too much credit...he's just a sleazeball who showed his true colors "for the umpteenth time" :(

O'REILLY: 'We held back some of this conversation... we didn't feel it had any relevance to the conversation this evening. We are not out to get Jesse Jackson. We are not out to embarrass him and we are not out to make him look bad. If we were, we would have used what we had, which is more damaging than what you have heard'...

I saw that am wondering how long it will take for this to come out. I want to hear what JJ said.

Mule 07-10-2008 07:31 AM

Soon I hope!

Rikao4 07-10-2008 08:10 AM

agree, 'him talking down to blacks' is BORING.
I'm sure most of Jesse's rainbow guppies don't understand him anyway.
Big lead , followed with a flat coke.

Breaking news!

Jesse, when asked if he is really jealous of BHO responded, ''not only do I deny the allegation, I deny the alligator as well.":D

cgarr 07-10-2008 08:35 AM

JJ does not want ”The Masiha" to win, he would be out of business, no more crutch. But, I want to know where the Secret Service is? If I had threatened the Masiha they would have been on me like stink on *****....

Actually, you did not hear that, as it was a private conversation bewteen Cheney and Patrick Leahy and no mics were involved. Leahy went running to the press with it. Furthermore, Cheney refused to apologize, freely admitted he'd said it and even said he felt better for saying it. Gotta love such candor.

I'd love to see JJ be so honest just once. Just come out and admit he's a shakedown artist, a racist, a liar, you know, all the things we already know about him.

I absolutely did hear that. You misinterpreted the meaning of "I heard that" imo. I never said that I heard that "first hand", a clip, etc., but was referring to hearing the reports (which Cheney confirmed) that recounted the event. Thus, "I heard that..." is indeed accurate. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, and you know what, you heard it too :).

Jackson's playing this off as some sort of "hot mic" thing that thing is deplorable. He was caught showing his real colors for a change, and doesn't like it. He shows how much he is truly lacking in any form of integrity.

Integrity is simply obedience to the unenforceable. It is doing the right thing when no one is looking and you wouldn’t get caught doing otherwise.

That's great Dude!
Rhymin' Man,
Tall and tan,
Rhyme or reason,
Play your hand --
Rhyme on this -- rhyme on that
Oh, you naughty Democrat!

They say when Doctor King got shot,
Jesse hatched an evil plot,
Dipped his hands in the Doctor's blood,
'N rubbed his shirt like playin' with mud
Looked around for all the press
'N said: "Check me out, my name is Jess!
I'll be known from towns 'n farms --
Doctor King died in my arms!"

Rhymin' Man,
Tall and tan,
Rhyme or reason,
Play your hand --
Rhyme on this -- rhyme on that
Oh, you naughty Democrat!

A few years later, legend says,
Rhymin' man made a run for Prez
Farrakhan made him a clown,
Over there near Hymie-Town
Said he was a diplomat --
Hobbin' an-a-knobbin' with Arafat
Castro was simpatico,
But the U.S. voters, they said: "No!"

Rhymin' Man,
Tall and tan,
Rhyme or reason,
Play your hand --
Rhyme on this -- rhyme on that
Oh, you naughty Democrat!

Okay, here we go again!
Rhymin' Man says he's your friend
Any fool can make a rhyme --
Cowboys do it all the time
People say: "Now he's mature!"
Cowboys rhyme that with horse manure

Horse manure!
That's for sure!
You been cheatin' --

We kept score!
Are you "this"?
Or are you "that"?
Oh, you naughty
Democrat!

Frank Zappa gets cancer and Barbara Streisand is as healthy as a horse, go figure.

Mr Jackson is perhaps the biggest living contributor to the problems we have with race relations in this country.

Any why should not Obama's "clinging to religion" statement not offend African American people of faith? And although Jesse has his faults - why would he not get lots of feedback on this offensive comment??

He said what he felt and he felt what he said. Mic on or not. Bully for him.

Obama is a elitist Harvard phony, and much of his iron clad (you would think) constituency see past this arrogance and campaign BS and really does not support the man.

Rikao4 07-10-2008 12:35 PM

is there more ?
or is this it..
'talking down to black people'

One valid questiion has been asked, why is it ok for jesse to say something like that to Obama, but if a white person said the exact same thing they would tar and feather him.

The media covered this story in a downplay sort of way, mentioning it a little but hoping it would die and go away. it got most of the coverage from a few right wing news agencies but almost nothing from the lefties. If it were rush or that Imus clown this story would be front page news for 6 months.

A couple things are apparent:
1) it isn't racism unless a while person says it.
2) the liberal media is biased and reluctant to publish anything that would hurt a liberal candidate or a minority activist who makes a living through intimidation and extortion.

That leads to another question, did they downplay the story because they support Obama or support Jesse Jackson, or because they are afraid the reverend will slap them with one of his race cards?
