WTF is this? Something I found in my Den Tonite

Can in tonite from a pool party - found this on the floor of the den. I couldn't find my digital so I had to use my cell - quality sucks.

This is about 6 inches long. At first I thought it was a dried up banana peel but after sniffing it it smelled like our dogs breath so I'm thinking its something she barfed up or pooped out. She did have worms a few weeks ago (which pills took care of) and maybe this is the reminant of tape worm?

It almost looks like a piece of flex pipe that is unraveled.

It is organic in origin - I will have to take a better pic when I find my digital camera.

Its shape looks too uniform to be a worm, IMO.

Looks like a piece of wicker to me.

Mike, you need to pull out your microscope and do a thorough dissection. If its organic you will know from its intestine. A worm or perhaps even an alien..call Sigorney Weaver.

It almost looks like a piece of rawhide, vine (or something) that grew (or was wrapped) around something and that one end appears to be the beginning of a nice "chew toy". I don't see how it could have been swallowed, but I've been surprised before.

Looks like unraveled rawhide to me. Those things are dangerous. We give our pup the aforementioned bull dicks (bully sticks). He loves those things and they are totally edible/digestable. We buy the footlongs and toss them when he gets them to be about 3 inches long.

I found it it was a rawhide chew toy that the kids bought our dog! Our lil girl asked me this morning why Snoopers chew toy was up on my book case. No wonder it smelt like dog breath! Glad I didn't take a bite out of it.

I will have to look for another anomoly to put on my shelf.
