BHO's lead Gone

Bho's 10 point lead from when the Hildebeast bailed, is no more.

Just wait and it will get better and better. Eventually some of the brain dead liberals have to understand that BHO is not going to be good for them.

I'm hopeful, but this could easily be a statistical fluke. When he's held a 5%+ lead for more than two weeks, I'll start feeling it.

Marcus,

You might come on over to America and get to know us a bit better. This simply is not going to happen, ever....

Let's take a look at reality for a second. Obama has spent many $ millions more than McCain over the past six months or so trying to defeat the hildabeast. He's in the public spotlight. McCain has been cruising, taking it easy, and will turn it on when we get closer to the election. It is normal for Obama to be slightly ahead in the polls now. This same situation occurs every single time we have one party's primary uncontested as in the party makes a decision quickly or there is an incumbent, and the other party's primary is hotly contested.

It doesn't matter who is ahead at the halfway mark. It matters who is ahead at the end of the race. those who have been around long enough or actually pay attention and have an attention span longer than a half hour sitcom know this to be true.

I've said for a long time that the republicans have serious dirt on Obama and will swiftboat him into obscurity a few months before the election and McCain will win big time.
that may prove to be unnecessary, it looks like Obama might be sinking his own ship.
I'm sure he hopes that will change

You can take your socialism and put it where the sun doesn't shine.
You don't know us as wel as you think. There are allot of liberals here and right now they have a voice but they are NOT the majority. They are just the loudest and are more of the "look at me" attention whore type.

They have gained strength because they have had it good and easy for a long time.
The conservatives have been quietly working and minding their own business, allowing the liberal left to have their gay rights parades and protest our soldiers and demand even more expensive "social programs" for those who choose not to earn their own way. That won't last much longer. We've had just about enough of the weakening of this country by the jane fonda wannanbe's.

When the ***** hits the fan and real adversity rears it's ugly head, the weaker bleeding heart liberals will fall down faster than France fell in the face of the blitzkrieg.
Which when you think about it is a good parallel.

His flip flopping on every issues trying to run to the center is turning off his base of left wing extremest. It's no surprise that BO's polling numbers are going down.

Realclearpolitics.com still has Obama ahead in their poll of polls. He's been consistently about 3% ahead in most national polls, which is within or pretty close to the margin of error. This should be his high mark, as Sammy pointed out. But I would have liked to see McCain showing some movement by now. The real race doesn't begin until the conventions, and then gets serious after Labor day. But still, if you look at the states in play, the electoral college count shapes up way better for Obama than McCain. I suspect the real numbers are closer than the polls suggest. Republicans tend to run a few points better on election day than they do in polls, and Obama tends to run a few points lower on election day than in polls. It's going to be interesting to see how things play out. The debates could be decisive.

The republicans better hope it doesn't come down to the debates. McCain can barely light up the room when it is his turn to shine. He will not be able to hold a candle to Obama when push comes to shove.

obama can't function without a teleprompter. he's going to great lengths to avoid any unscripted debate with mccain.

I'm now you libs get all excited about his Southern Baptist preaching,,,errr I mean speaches, however have you heard him without the tele-prompt?

I've watched 4 Town Hall Meetings on CSPAN with B'HO and the guy babbles worse than W when it's not laid out for him. But then again his campaign has proclomated the 'Obama debate rules" and has even turned down invitations from McCain to have debates.

In most cases, the best con-men in the world can talk ultra smooth. So f'n what. It's about what he says and does more so than how he sounds.

First of all, I am not a lib. You people need to learn there are different wings of opposing parties, and there are people in the center.

I am registered as an independent, always have been. I like guns, violence, abortion, but I also like science and peace. I don't fall into a particular party.

I have heard him without a tele-prompter, not to bad. Nobody babbles as much as W, not even mule, on occasion.

Of course they have turned down debates with McCain. Could you imagine 4 months of debates, boring. They will just wait until the end.
Plus McCains dementia will have had more time to set by then.

Obama will walk all over grandpa when it comes time.
