Will Bank Stocks hit bottom and begin to climb soon??
Are any of the financials near bottom or is there a long dark night ahead?

I'm thinking smaller regional banks and a time frame of now to the end of the year

If you're considering this move, I'd suggest you do some homework. ALL banks are taking a hit on their stock price because of the mortgage meltdown. But not ALL banks are holding tons of bad paper...some were conservative home lenders not taking huge risks.
This is what I mean by doing some homework. Many smaller local banks have perfectly sound records in this regard.
