What's the worst wedding you have been to?
My Uncle had been sick and passed out three times durring his wedding. Went with a buddy to his neighbors wedding. The bride arrived with a black eye. Durring the rception the groom tried to make a pair. The families got into it. I just stayed with the food and beer, enjoying the entertainment.
What's yours?

Wedding in the backyard by the Justice of the Peace.
Reception in the basement--KFC. Bride was a stout 250 lbs. I've actually seen the bride since then at the gym. She's drop 130 lbs. and is actually pretty hot now...

My mother, sister, and wife went to my cousins wedding and the brides drunken father pulled a gun. Fortunately, no one got hurt, but I knew that was a good one to miss.

I went to see Jerry Seinfeld in DC a few years ago and he had a great schpiel on "no one wants to go to your wedding". Some folks seemed kinda outraged at first, but I think most agreed after thinking about it a while.

My first one and my wife's cousins's wedding. Her husband is such a dork and the best man got up to toast them, his first toast was to his own mother and father because it was their wedding anniversary. I just about screemed at him, it isn't their day and they didn't pay for this, it is the brides day you fn jerk. Her new husband thought the guy was cool.

The DJ played "Who Let the Dogs Out?" when the mother of the bride entered the reception hall.

The one where I woke up and still wished I was wearing the previous night's beer goggles.

neo nazi bikers showed up to the last one I ever went to, (friends of the groom) it didn't get any better after they arrived, and it was a mess before they got there.

At my wife's cousins wedding reception there was a fight and I separated the two successfully to the point they shook hands with a "come on guys this is a wedding" line. At that moment I got sucker punched from behind in the temple. When I recovered the place was in complete bedlam, chairs flying and all. I just walked back to the bar, re-took my stool next to my wife's uncle and took in the rest with a brew. I never did find out who hit me and I even had to testify as a witness in court on the ordeal as someone else got really hurt and sued.

Youngest brother's wedding when I was in my 20's. It was outside and it was 100 freaking degrees at least.
Wearing a tux and we had to stand there for hours in the sun for the stupidly long ceremony, the photographs, all the BS. Near the end i started getting light headed, then wham. Out cold from heat stroke or whatever it's called when you overheat. Didn't help that I had a few beers the night before and was a little dehydrated. OK, "few" might not be entirely accurate. |

My first one. Car Accident the night before, up till 2AM in the ER. Hobbling down the aisle, wedding cakes never arrived, my wife already sleeping around.
Ya know, the usual...

college, senior year....
fred and cindy "have to" get married. we all trek to her home town, lake okoboji iowa. some hotels rooms get trashed. i sideswipe a tree with my firebird. one of fred's scumbag cousins pukes on my boots. the reverend decides at the last minute that he's not marrying these two in his church. so the townfolk open the city hall on a saturday just for us. the town seal/document stamp gets stolen. one of cindy's brothers beats up a guy over some missing coke. one of fred's scumbag cousins almost gets killed for feeling up a highschool girl. i am so hammered most of the weekend that i make out with one of cindy's aunts who is old enough to be my grandmother. cindy's extended family comprise about a third of the towns population, so most of the wedding party escapes serious legal trouble. i have a deputy personally tell me that i should never come back here. that was the second worst wedding i've ever been to.
