What valve are you using? That does not look like the electric valve on mine that only opens when the pressure drops.

That's why I asked about the valve. Accusump sells a few different valves and I have the one that ony accuates when there is a pressure drop below a specified point. This helps from dumping to much oil and also keeps the oil from becoming "frothed" up from air from constant uneeded circulation.

You can pre oil by turning on the switch before hitting the ignition while there is no oil pressure. Once the engine starts and there is pressure up to the minimum of the valve it closes.

I have the old style valve and changed to the pressure set one about a year ago and have noticed a vast improvement in my oiling.
