I have him on ignore. Might I suggest others do the same.

There are plenty of smart, well informed conservatives on this board. I frequently differ in opinion with them, but I can understand their, typically, well thought out view point.

Are you speaking of Mule? Yes, he is the premier troll here on Pelican. A quick search of his name shows that he almost NEVER actually talks about Porsches. He just chimes in on every political thread and says dumb stuff, and you can't really argue with dumb stuff, because the dumb people saying the dumb stuff don't even realize they are saying dumb stuff. It's, again, like arguing with a child. I like the block idea though. :)

Maybe if we post enough he'll reply and post that awesome picture of the baby crying again.

He regularly posts in threads with no intention of providing a positive contribution. His sole purpose for posting is to stir the **** and derail the thread for his own amusement at the expense of other members of the board.

And I'm not talking about the political threads either.

Even when he posts in tech, there ain't no tech involved. He does like to argue about how much horsepower a bar of turbo will give you...but even with that, he doesn't say much.

I guess you don't read his posts attacking me either, great job.

In this case, I am not saying anything irrelevant to this particular thread. In fact, my analysis of the topic at hand is spot-on, and evidenced by a simple search of his name in the Advanced Search. He likes to find threads, say something insanely disparaging and innaccurate about Barack Obama, and then turn it completely personal if someone responds. I'd much rather talk about Porsche's, like I have done for 5 years and over 3000 posts. If he constantly only wants to be an idiot in public, then more power to him. But it (obviously) doesn't make him endearing to a lot of people on the board, myself included.

The good news is, I realized the other day that every facet of my life is better than his, and that he's got issues far beyond the scope of this board, so I feel sorry for him.

report them. I don't read every post. Or even every thread. I've stated that before. If someone doesn't point them out, odds are I don't read them.
