Question Porsche Jet

I've been invited to see this tomorrow (Seattle).

Does anyone know anything about this?

I know that Honda is doing great with their jet (so says a friend at Honda). So is Porsche following?

It better be a racing jet . . . right?

Lightweight, with none of that heavy comfort and safety gear, and priced under a million.

So did Porsche design and build a jet.... or is this just another marketing ploy?

...I can't find any news items about it.

The Honda jets have been taking off from Burbank Airport almost daily. By far they're the sweetest of their class. Really, really quiet, and fast. It'll take a hell of a nice jet to beat the Honda.

I think it's the yearly invite that they do at Galvins. They bring in a bunch of planes and try to sell them. Barrier Porsche sponsors it and tries to sell cars. I went last year and thought it was nice to see some of the new cars, but only a handful of jets showed. I did get a cool Porsche lanyard though!

I got an invitation to one of these at HPN (Westchester County) a while back, trying to sell planes and fractional ownership to Porsche owners. Guess I should have gone but didn't.

"Different" looking - can be an issue; built by Piper for Honda.

For their size they are fairly expensive, which could also be an issue.

I'd actually take a nice Pilatus PC 12 before one of these small jets. Load all the shlt you want and still get in and out of most small strips. Plenty of cash leftover for a white GT3.

I'll fly that Pilatus for you and since I'm nice I'll keep the oil warmed up in the GT3 too!

I like the Pilatus a lot, it's a different market focus than a jet. A Pilatus would have been a rough ride over the Rockies yesterday with all the boomers that were below 31,000ft. In most jets you get to ride above 75% of the t-storms.

I can't think of too many small jets that can carry snowmobiles in the back or land on unimproved strips though.

I'll fly it for you and maintain it for you, all at a bargain price since my options are somewhat open right now. Same for the GT3.
