Need Help rear seat removal

I need some advice on how to get the fasteners out that hold to rear seats to the outside. It is about 3/4 inch in dia and has a big flat screwdriver slot. Yes I have tried a screwdriver.

Joe, you need the biggest screwdriver you have, insert and twist while tapping the handle with a hammer. You can also try clamping a vice grip on the shaft to give you more leverage, but be sure you are pressing in, maybe get a helper to tap as well.

if those don't work, you'll need an impact driver.
