Can you spot which leg he broke?

Hint: it's the one that nearly broke his nose.

Glad I gave up two wheeled motorized transport. I mean, if a guy with those skills can be nailed, how about we mere mortals???

Must have been a sight to see his own leg flopping around in front of his face like that.

Reminds me of when I broke my shoulder on a ski jump. When I landed, my arm was pointing in the wrong direction and I suddenly thought I had landed on someone cause of this arm that was pointing in the wrong direction....turned out just to be me (all screwed up).

Funny how the Ducati fans here don't care to respond to this thread. Yeah, I know...this, or worse, can't happen to them...

now thats not right... who cares what brand bike he was on?

The other day at work I witnessed a boi on a crotch rocket, tumble skip flip fall slide almost 500 feet (I measured while waiting for the EMS and Police). We quickly closed the upper level of the bridge because parts of this fellows arms were strewn about the roadway.. From what I deduced.. he slid on his elbows and basically wore through all the tissue.. one of his forearms was bout 100 feet behind where he came to a rest..

I never even bothered to find out what brand bike the idiot was driving....... Not that this relates to the racer falling and breaknig his leg... but who gives a F what bike he is riding?

Most bizzare thing I've ever experienced was when I shattered my femur.

WTF does a Ducati have to do w/ it? If I post a video of some poor bastard in a Ford Ranger getting a gear shift through the side of his head, will you stop driving?

You're right about one thing, though. None of these youtube videos w/ titles like, "this is why I sold my bike" showing a gory crash have any effect on my decision to ride a MC anymore than a video of someone going 120 mph in a car and hitting a cement wall make me want to give up driving. What is it about bikes that makes people toss logic and common sense out the window?

I agree with Denis. I ride and am not worried at all about crashing like that. I don't ride like that......

Remember, 911's were deemed dangerous cars because idiots lifted off the throttle when they cooked it into a corner.........

Cheers

Not a Ducati BTW. Pretty sure it was a Honda...
Also, keep in mind these kind of bikes (SBK/Moto GP) are crazy. Like WELL under 400 pounds and WELL over 200 hp.
