Republican Platform Adjustments
Interesting. This just in. The Republican Party has hardened its stand on abortion, insisting on a constitutional ban and eliminating language about "reduction" in abortions (the platform now flatly opposes them and seeks the necessary amendment to the Constitution).
At the same time, the "party" is softening its position on Global Warming. Hmmmmmm..... Why would they do that. Why would they soften their position on a scientific finding that scientists agree is false? A hoax. Why would they do that?

Does it really matter? They are light years away from having the kind of majorities required for any kind of Const. amendment. They might as well say they're against cancer and diabetes too. No harm in saying it and nothing they can do about it.

'cause they want to lose the election?
Agree with Rick on the improbability of an amendment, but mindless ignorance of facts is difficult for me to accept. Get tough on the wrong stuff and maybe they hope we won't notice their position on illegal migrants???
