They have to be the worst team in the NFC going into pre-season. I can't imagine how bad they are going to be.

I'm sorry, but didn't the Eagles beat Dallas in Dallas last year? Haven't the Eagles pretty much owned the Cowboys during the Andy Reid era? Isn't the Eagles record vs the TO led Cowbows 3-1? Hasn't TO been totally ineffective in 3 of the 4 games?

Perhaps i'm mistaken, but IIRC the Eagles have won 5 division titles, won 8 playoff games, made it to 4 NFC title games and a Superbowl since the last time Dallas even won a playoff game.

Conversely, under Reid, the Eagles have never lost their first playoff game.

The Eagles are probably not as good as their 2004 superbowl squad, but they probably are as good as the NFC East winning 2nd round of the playoffs 2006 squad.

On top of that, the Giants are reigning world champions.

From where i sit Romo is a fraud, the Cowboys are completely unproven pretenders, and they're likely to be home golfing after round 1 of the playoffs....again.

Yes, the Eagles beat the Cowboys in Dallas (10-6) - but the Cowboys beat the Eagles in Philidelphia 38-17 in the first meeting of last season.

I don't think Romo is a fraud, but he hasn't proven to me that he's consistant.

I also don't think the Giants will be anywhere near the playoffs this season. If there's a fraud in the NFC East, it's Eli Manning. He came through when it was absolutely necessary and I'll be floored if they even come close to the level of play that they demonstrated in the last half of last season.

That was the greatest Superbowl comeback in history. Of the 30 plus superbowls i've watched, that last drive was one of the greatest clutch performances i have ever seen in any sport. And not just the QB, but the entire offensive unit. (that being said new Eagle Assante Samuel could have ended it all if he didn't drop an interception thrown right to him)

I hate the Giants, but i'm not going to sit here and call the man who pulled the trigger on the greatest drive in SB history a fraud. Ever. He is in my eyes 100% proven now. He beat Tom Brady and the Patriots in a superbowl for goodness sake.

Tony Romo can't even carry the jock of Eli Manning or Donovan McNabb. Both have been to NFL heights that he can only dream of.

He's a Cowboys fan. He's just trying to delude himself into thinking the Eagles won't win yet another Division title at his Cowboys expense. The only reason Tony Romo ever looks good is because of the offense he is piloting. If you put him on a team like Atlanta no one would even know his name.

Clearly there are many teams in the NFC in way worse shape than the Eagles. There is still an NFC team in Atlanta right?

He's right, I'm a Cowboy fan. I actually like McNabb and I hope he continues to play for the Eagles. He never will amount to much, and certainly won't ever win a Super Bowl, with any team.

I can't concern myself with who's jock is too small for Romo, but this might be the year that the Eagles go 0'fer in the NFC East. If I was Andy Reid, I'd set my goal at trying to get one of two from the dead skins.
