You are right. 4.10 instead of 3.73....I'm still on the fence, but will probably get back into another SC. Thanks for all the feedback. Will follow up on my decision.

But, if you must go down the BMW road, you could build one heck of a track car based on the E30/36 for cheaper.

Why buy a track car if you just want to do a few DEs? It makes no sense. Buy a street car and do some mild mods, so you can enjoy it on the street AND on the track. For someone to buy a track car, then not take it to the track, it just doesn't make sense. Also, the price seems high for an S52 M-coupe. I'd be willing to guess you could get a nice S54 model for the same cash, and have a much more fun and desirable car.

I think that M looks really nice. I would put some door panels back on, block off the radio opening, and use it as a daily driver :D

A pretty car, but that chassis does not have a good reputation for being well balanced. That came with the Z4.
