CAD file for Porsche logo

Does anyone have a cad file for the Porsche badge?

I'm so bored and slow at work today, so I thought it would be a fun to machine one. And I'll send you an aluminum badge when I get one machined as a trade

Many thanks
Matt

If I send you a .dwg file for a 959, can you machine me one of those?

Pretty sure I have some various Porsche .dxf files on either my other computer or work computer. I was going to engrave the Porsche crest on a set of air cleaner housings I made, but I'd be a fool to try to sell them that way without the proper permissions (read: $$)

I also spent countless hours replicating the Porsche font (both numbers and letters) for my badges, but those files would not be free.

I'll check later this weekend and send you what I've got.

BTW, what do you do? I'm lucky enough to get to play with CNC machines all day, and when there is some free machine time (not much these days) I get to make whatever I please.

Many thanks for finding it

I work for a company making prototype models and engineering check parts. Mostly for the high tech industry. From computer housings to small medical devices.

I also rarely have time to make anything for myself and when i do have time, I normally then can't think of anything to make. The last thing I machined for myself was some rear speaker grills, with Porsche lettering engraved. Unfortunately I lost the file when our computers were stolen. I had some people ask for them, but I just don't have the enthusiasm to draw up the 3d model again.

I program with surfcam and we have about 12 haas mills now. We also have sla and sls machines and a mold and casting deptartment. We started out as a model making company using bridgports etc and slowly built up from there. I started my training after leaving school as an injection mold maker and then decided enough tool steel! I find it exciting now to be making small run parts that have a couple of day turn around, so there's always something new to machine. At the moment I'm machining some small magnesium computer housings for a military application.

Anyway, many thanks for finding the badge file.

Matt
