Buddy and Jack are ready for Santa!

They can't wait. We were calling the new puppy Harry but as that was the name of my first Airedale it felt weird. He answers to Jack, and we like it too.

Quincy says "woof!" to Jack, Buddy, and Widge. We usually wrap a ball that has a bell or whistle and watch the dog shred the paper.

Here is Quincy last year, his first Christmas, doing a Santa imitation. Stole the wife's fake snow for her village scenes. Swear, this was not staged.

Here he is this year. Much more behaved... thank God!!

I think Quincy is the best! Ya gotta love them terriers. He looks about Jacks size. We had him to the vets today and he weighed in at 35 lbs. It would be great to have the 4 of them all together some day. Someplace with LOTS of room to play! What great dogs. Widge and Buddy are on the same page totally!

I would love to have an Airedale! The wife is stuck on Fox Terrier which is the downsized Airedale look-alike.

Quincy is just 22 lbs currently. Don't expect much of a weight gain til he hits my age. We usually end up with the runt of the litter... on purpose.

Jack is a fine name.

Here's our Jack, with his new collar, looking very posh. Usually, he's much scruffier.

Very astute of you Tabs, as always.

He has a bit of EWOK in him, I'm sure.

Just a word of warning. Don't ever call him "miniature" to his face. He is very sensitive about his size, and believes he is much larger than he is.

What he lacks in size, he makes up in speed. His favorite saying is "it's not the meat, it's the motion, baby."

In fact he is quite fearless. His nickname is "killer".

But I believe he would get along very well with Quincy.
