I love that sequence of pictures. It says so much. Really it does.

There has NEVER been anyone driving a 911, that has lost control, never.

Z-man must be asleep today.

My favorite reply to any HD thread is by a guy on rennlist, he replies with one word. I think I am going to modify his word to fit within the language rules here.

Vagina.

It's seldom the utopia they expected, as everyone's whiny little complaints are given heed and must be addressed. I find it only fitting that they wind up under the scrutiny of others who complain as freely as they do, but about different things. Usually something they like to do. They all deserve each other.

Myself, I just can't get all worked up about these things. I've never understood (or tolerated very well) those who do. I admit I don't understand the psychology of the whiner. Not that I really care to, come to think of it. We all have things that bother us to some degree. How much we allow them to is entirely up to us as individuals. I think those of you that do manage to get worked up over these trivialities show some inherent weakness of spirit, or character, or something. Maybe wrist... But, like I said, I neither understand nor care to understand what lies behind or motivates the habitual complainer. You guys do seem to be happy in your misery, though, so who am I to judge. Whatever floats your boat. Now where the hell did I leave those drag pipes...

Just yanking your chain.
You are right, there is no perfection anywhere, and whinning does not help. But, consideration for your fellow humans is a good, intelligent, considerate thing to do. You are that type already, I was just yanking ya!;)

I always tell my employees, no whinning! If you have a problem with something, bring it to my attention with a proposed solution and we'll see if it is feasible. Any complaint without a considered solution is whinning and that will not be tolerated.

Well, your mother may put up with your loud nosies to call attention to your dirty diaper, but I won't.

Oh, I know. But the chain has two ends, and you know I've tugged on the other a time or two...

Words to live by. Essentially, I like to hear the solution first. Then tell me what the problem used to be.

In this case, there really is no solution everyone wants to live with. I've seen none proposed that are workable or livable. Some folks are just going to be an annoyance; some folks are just going to be whiners. I try to avoid both. Maybe my little utopia should include both; they sure seem to feed on one another.

We would need to see proof of that. And then charge her with lax parenting skills.

The ignore button is awesome. Why haven't I used it earlier?

I think the boner guys gravitate to harleys. Ive spent a lot of time around race cars that make an HD sound like a mewing kitten. No wood.

Wimp. All of mine go to 11.

And I personally don't care about loud pipes, EXCEPT when I was living downtown Vancouver, and all the bouncers leaving the bars at 3am would go up and down the side streets playing the "rev-my-bike-so-loud-it-sets-off-all-the-car-alarms" game... then I was imagining what they'd look like with a mil-dot over them, and wondered what my corrections would be for a 12th story shot. ;)

It must have pissed off a lot of people, as the cops set up stops for motorcycles on each of the bridges heading into downtown and checking their noise levels... funnily enough, 50% of the bikes they stopped had improperly licensed riders or invalid insurance.

It all comes down to respect... and reasonable tolerance. Between 9-10pm, for me, is fine... 3am, not nice.
