There's a guy over on 914world.com who worked on his V8 conversion in his garage (in a nice townhome community in OC). Neighbor lady got pizzed (rightfully so) from the noise and sued him. She won a judgment and now the guy has to sell the home (in a down market...he paid top-dollar) to pay her and his/her lawyers. Hope you have better lawyers than your neighbors (and pray you never move next door to me!). |
I never piss off my neighbors. Im extremely careful not to intrude upon their peaceful existence as I mentioned above numerous times
i am a lawyer and i can take care of myself. If I had a douche bag with an immature attitude like RPKESQ living next to me, i would take great pleasure in retaliating against his bigotry and arrogance with my noise |
Sometimes we need to ask ourselves - why does a capable businessman who runs a successful parts business go through the trouble of maintaining an OT section of a web-site?

my buddy has a 600hp jet boat with open headers. so loud it makes your chest hurt when he revs it up. been wondering why he always kept one hand in his pocket after cranking it up. don't believe I'll help him tune it up after hearing about the loud noise/erection effect. way too gay standing around, everyone with boners, watching someone tune a loud engine. or does the header/hardon thing only work with Harleys/wankers? maybe I could get rich selling loud exhaust sexual aid audio cds to elderly harley riders with erectile dysfunction , too old to get cranked up but still wanting to ride.

Myself, I just can't get all worked up about these things. I've never understood (or tolerated very well) those who do. I admit I don't understand the psychology of the whiner. Not that I really care to, come to think of it. We all have things that bother us to some degree. How much we allow them to is entirely up to us as individuals. I think those of you that do manage to get worked up over these trivialities show some inherent weakness of spirit, or character, or something. Maybe wrist... But, like I said, I neither understand nor care to understand what lies behind or motivates the habitual complainer. You guys do seem to be happy in your misery, though, so who am I to judge. Whatever floats your boat. Now where the hell did I leave those drag pipes... |
Moderators - please change the title of this thread to "My grandpa came back from the dead to ***** about the noise"
and no, you can get boners from japanese and italian bikes too <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/K08Tmg0gLSU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/K08Tmg0gLSU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cb1atvxpNXg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cb1atvxpNXg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> |
Danny Ocean posted this sequence in another recent thread. It stands reposting
as a salient lesson in motorcycle safety. Pay special attention to the rider's safety equipment. An appropriate helmet, leather and the loud exhaust pipes. Now this just happens to be a Harley, but ofcourse it could be any 1930s motorcycle ridden being by someone unable to negoatiate a corner. So lets be careful out there, people. http://www.roadrashed.com/Track%20Pi...ing%20good.jpg http://www.roadrashed.com/Track%20Pi...ing%20good.jpg http://www.roadrashed.com/Track%20Pi...ing%20down.jpg |
