1970 911S 60k? Say what?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-911-S-1970-Porsche-911-S-Tangerine-Targa-Ferrari-Jaguar-356_W0QQitemZ270262044844QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item2 70262044844&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C65%3A1&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245.l1308

Does that seem high to anyone else? Like 20k too high...

I couldn't afford it, but based on what I've seen over the last few years, and if the write up is true, then $60K seems about market.

Maybe it's just me, but it looks close enough to my 84 Targa that I'd take my 84 for less than 1/4 the price, with a bigger, faster engine.

Call NADA Guides and ask them how many '70 911S's they have to sell you at their "average price" of $28,725.

I see your point. However, you don't think 60k is too high? That thing is in excellent condition, but it does have 104k miles and it is leaking oil.

Looks to me that the car has been quickly repsrayed for the sale.

Not sure what's hiding under the paint, but if the paintshop cant even mask the door vin plate well, how much time and effort was put into the rest of the paint job.

But it sure looks pretty from 15 feet away
