Ohhhh Noooo - Glue-on Brembo brake caliper covers

Ohhhh Noooo - Glue-on Brembo brake caliper covers

Poseurs, take note: you can finally corral all that imaginary power your Hyundai Elantra SRT8 isn't making underhood. Eric Hsu at JDM Insider's Beyond the Dyno blog came across what'll doubtless be the latest trend to show up on M-badged Plymouth Breezes everywhere: bogus, glue-on brake caliper covers that give you the high-performance Brembo look while perfectly maintaining your fakemobile's incomprehensible lameness. When it comes to things that suck, innovation knows no bounds.

What a joke.

That's just wrong on so many levels. Luckily the posers who will install these will never get their brake calipers hot enough to melt those little plastic POS.

I can't wait to see some Hondatard trying to fit those to drum brakes. . . You know it's going to happen.

+1. My thoughts exactly. If you can make a cheap product that stupid people will pay a lot of money for, you will be very wealthy indeed.

Been out for a while actually.

My favorite poseur item, even better than these? A little device that SIMULATES the sound of a turbo blowoff valve. Yep. Fake turbo wooosh.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The SUNAMI will simulate the “psssst” noise generated from the blow off valve of a turbo-equipped vehicle.

The SUNAMI comes complete with all hardware, which includes a manual push button trigger mechanism as well as a vacuum switch trigger mechanism.

After setting a trigger boost level through an adjustable setscrew on the vacuum pressure switch, every time you reach the set boost level, the SUNAMI will simulate the “psssst” noise generated from the blow off valve of a turbo vehicle.

An additional override button also allows you to trigger the SUNAMI anytime.
